The Role

As a Back-End Engineer, you will be responsible for the server-side development of web applications and the underlying systems that power them. Your focus will be on building and maintaining the logic, databases, and server infrastructure that enable the functionality of our website and applications within the Web2 and Web3 ecosystem.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into efficient back-end solutions
• Design, develop, and optimize server-side applications and APIs
• Build and maintain secure databases
• Integrate with the front end for a seamless user experience
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of back-end systems, including unit testing, integration testing, and load testing, to ensure high-quality and reliable deliverables
• Monitor and optimize server infrastructure
• Stay updated with Web3 trends; write clean code
• Participate in agile development processes.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Web3 technologies, such as Ethereum, Solidity, and decentralized application (dApp) development.
• Knowledge of server infrastructure and cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience in deploying and managing scalable and secure server environments.
• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast-paced environments
• You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
• Willing to work in Bengaluru, India
• Proven work experience as a Back-End Engineer, specializing in server-side development and web application architecture.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Node.js, Python, or Go and relevant frameworks and libraries.
• Proficient understanding of databases, including both SQL and NoSQL solutions, and experience with database design and optimization.
• Familiarity with API design principles and RESTful architectures, as well as experience in integrating external APIs and blockchain networks.
• Understanding of version control systems, such as Git, and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze and debug complex back-end issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Fluency in English in order to be able to liaise with stakeholders in the region effectively.
