Overview
We are excited about building a new and focused Threat Guidance team to continually advance our products and protect our customers from Cybersecurity threats. The role of our team is to develop, maintain and monitor our applications. Our primary task is building reliable, scalable, and maintainable software products that give customers a solid experience.
We are building our systems as microservices and edge applications and rely heavily on technologies such as containers and different AWS components. We build API services and distributed applications in Rust and/or Go as well as work actively with our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure to facilitate the developer experience.
Your Role Within The Company
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on the team that is building Mastercard’s Threat Intelligence platform. You will work with the team to independently manage and run projects and be focused on collecting and analyzing data to make recommendations on the data and technology required to reduce cyber security risk.
You will be involved in ideation, design, build, implementation and the maintenance of product solutions and related platforms .In your role, you will actively contribute to keeping the codebases in excellent shape, keeping the test suite up-to-date, and improving our tools and processes.

- Write code in Rust to develop new or improve existing microservices and applications.
- Work with environments and tools like Linux, docker, and Kubernetes.
- Work with and develop our CI/CD pipelines and development tools.
- Work with and develop our software development principles and practices.
- Be a key player in our team by providing input and taking initiative for our use of cutting-edge technologies and concepts.

- You’re an innovator who likes to ask why, continuously learn, brainstorm and solve complex problems to enhance cyber threat intelligence functions
- You are comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly evolving space and excited about helping the team design, build, and implement tools and solutions
- Past experience in writing Rust, Golang and/or Python.
- Working with platforms such as linux, kubernetes and cloud providers
- A team-player, with strong communication as a strength
