Mysten Labs seeks a Data Science intern for 12 weeks in summer 2024. This role will focus primarily on supporting our Growth Team initiatives and the successful candidate will partner with our product and engineering teams to conceptualize, measure, and report on one or more product rollouts. This work may include doing experimental and pseudo-experimental analyses, building descriptive dashboards, and generating one-off analyses for product partners. Interns will have the chance to strengthen their existing knowledge of using SQL, Python, and R to do statistical inference and data visualization. They will also have the chance to learn from product, data, and engineering teams at Mysten Labs, a company leading the charge on one of the most performant and stable L1 blockchains.
The internship is best geared to students who are advanced undergraduates or in graduate school. Students from multiple backgrounds are encouraged to apply, including but not limited to data science, business, and the social, computer, or behavioral sciences.
Prior web3 experience is not required. The successful candidate will have multiple avenues with which to develop familiarity with web3 and the Move programming language if they are so interested.
