Role/ Key Responsibilities

Design and Development:

• Lead the design and development of enterprise-level Power BI solutions.
• Ensure solutions meet business requirements for effective data-driven decision-making.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications and data models.

Data Modeling:

• Design and implement complex data models.
• Integrate multiple data sources, implement data transformations, and ensure data accuracy.

Report Development:

• Develop visually appealing and interactive reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Power BI.
• Provide actionable insights to stakeholders through effective report development.

Mentorship:

• Mentor and guide junior team members.
• Provide technical expertise and support in Power BI development best practices.

Performance Tuning:

• Conduct performance tuning and optimization activities.
• Ensure optimal report rendering and query performance.

Stay Updated:

• Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and industry trends.
• Drive the adoption of new techniques and best practices within the team.

Commercial & Regulatory Reporting:

• Apply working experience in commercial & regulatory reporting.

BI Solution Building:

• Build BI solutions based on business needs.
• Apply knowledge of data analysis techniques and best practices.

MSBI Tools:

• Work with MSBI tools and Power BI.
• Demonstrate effective spreadsheet modeling skills.

Key Requirements

Power BI Development:

• Adept in developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports.

Report Development Skills:

• Develop visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.

SQL Proficiency:

• Advanced SQL writing skills.
• Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data models.

Data Modeling Languages:

• Extensive knowledge in various reporting objects, including Facts, Attributes, Hierarchies.

Power BI and Power Query:

• Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI and Power Query Formula Language.

SQL Programming:

• Proficiency with SQL programming and data modeling.

ETL Processes:

• Experience with ETL processes and database management.

Analytical Skills:

• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to gather and understand complex business requirements.

Programming Languages:

• Proficiency with DAX and other programming languages.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Team Collaboration:

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams globally.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
