About The Role

Chromia is actively seeking a Community Manager for our innovative blockchain project. We seek a highly communicative and dynamic individual with expertise in social media management, community engagement, and building. The ideal candidate will be vital in shaping the Chromia community and fostering open and transparent communication channels. As the Community Manager, you will be instrumental in building an engaged and supportive community around our blockchain project.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can leverage their skills to strengthen the ties between Chromia and its community, creating an environment where users actively contribute to the project's success. Responsibilities

• Community Engagement Management: Oversee daily community engagement across multiple channels, including Discord, Telegram, and Reddit. Actively engage with dedicated Chromia community members to foster a positive image of Chromia, encourage and facilitate involvement in promoting Chromia, and work to onboard users in collaborative projects. Maintain a positive community atmosphere, gather feedback, conduct surveys, and assess sentiment.
• Reputation safeguarding: Formulate a crisis protocol, coordinate responses during challenges, and guide official statements.
• Channel Development and Improvement: Spearhead channel development and improvements to increase participation and engagement.
• Cross-collaboration: Partner with the Content manager to create messaging for the community. Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to create tutorials and feature announcements based on Marketing directives.
• Community Events: Plan and execute AMAs and community events by partnering with the Marketing Manager to create a strategy and collaborating with the Content manager to create messaging while hosting written events across various channels.
• Community Building: Drive Initiatives to grow and nurture different groups of users within the community by establishing dedicated community areas for specific geographical regions, creating separate and shared spaces within the community, and building spaces to cater to English-speaking users and the broader global community. Contribute to developing a self-sustaining community, engage with external partners, and collaborate with Influencers.
• Ambassador program: Oversee the development of a self-sustaining community by creating a program that encourages heavy users to promote Chromia, set goals, and leverage marketing strategies for community activities aligned with overall marketing objectives.
• Mod Management: Work with moderators to build processes within the channels to encourage open conversation while limiting FUD.
  
  

Requirements

• Being a degen is requirement 1#, so be ready to explain which web3 communities you have managed and which ones you belong to.
• 2+ years of experience managing crypto projects community channels, including Telegram, Discord, Reddit, and beyond.
• 2+ years experience working at a web3 company (crypto, blockchain, DeFi) with a deep understanding of our industry.
• Knowledge and experience building, growing and nurturing web3 communities (examples of projects and success cases required).
• Strong written and communication skills with experience writing formal statements and updates
• Knowledge or experience using Community growth platforms such as Galxe or Layer3 and creating quests
• Ability to analyze and interpret various community perspectives, offering valuable insights for shaping impactful marketing strategies
