The team and role
The Digital Product teams are mission-centric, cross-functional software delivery teams. They work remote-first and create, ship, and run air up’s digital products and systems. This includes evolving our ecommerce platform to keep up with our strong growth, as well as creating new digital experiences from scratch.
As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you are a key member of a delivery team and work closely with other Engineers, Product Managers and Product Designers towards shared goals. In addition to building, testing, shipping, and running new features for our customer-facing apps and backend services, you and your team also move forward technical initiatives. You are a great contributor and help the team as a whole perform at its best.

- Be part of a cross-functional, mission-driven and self-organizing delivery team.
- Create, test, and ship code changes across the entire tech stack – mostly for our customer-facing frontend but also backend services.

- You have excellent web development (preferably React/Next.js) and some Java/Kotlin knowledge with at least 3+ years of professional experience
- You are comfortable working across the entire tech stack – frontend, backend and infra.

YOUR MISSION
A Backend Technical Lead is a software engineer responsible for guiding the backend community and alignment of the technical direction.
